Course Description:
Biology, “the study of life”, expands on the concepts that students learned in 7th grade life science and 9th grade health.  We will be learning about many facets of life on Earth. Physiology, genetics, plants, animals, and cells, are all major topics we will cover in this course. We will be exploring these topics through a variety of different methods, lectures, discussions, labs, and small group work.  The lessons for this class will follow the California standards for Biology (10th grade science). These standards can be found at http://www.cde.ca.gov.
